Catherine Lee serves as Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) Outcome Broker in Jackson, Mississippi. In this role, she works with organizations, agencies and community leaders to formulate and implement the GHHI model for housing repair program alignment through coordination of resources and services.. Ms. Lee received her master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Jackson State University and her bachelor’s degree in communication from University of Tampa. She serves on the Board of Directors for Bike Walk Mississippi, and is a member of the American Planning Association and American Institute of Certified Planners.

Quick Presentation description: I will share information with the audience about the measurable health impacts of weatherization and efficiency interventions in affordable housing, including highlights from GHHI’s recent publication “Achieving Health and Social Equity through Housing: Understanding the Impact of Non Energy Benefits in the United States.” The presentation will include best practices for housing repair and weatherization professionals, including cross-training workers on healthy housing and energy retrofitting practices.
